There’s nothing more welcoming and cozy than the scent of coffee wafting through your home. But since we can’t spend all day making coffee, here’s some simple instructions for making your very own coffee-scented candles. They also make a great little gift.
Instructions:
• 500 – 1000g soy or paraffin wax, chopped or grated
• 1-2tsp coffee grounds
• 1tsp coffee beans
• Glasses (e.g. old jam jars)
• Wicks and metal holders
• Water bath bowl for melting

Prepare the water bath:
place the bowl in a pot of boiling water. Attention! Make sure that no water gets into the melting bowl.
Then, gradually add the wax. Stir well and take care not to let the temperature go above 194°F (never let it boil!!).
Place the wick in the metal holder and then position it in the middle of your glasses. Next, add the coffee (mix the grounds and beans well). Pour the wax in (max. 2cm from the rim) and hold the wick in place.
Sprinkle a few coffee beans on top if you like, trim the wick and leave to harden for 24 hours.
Voilà!
