World-improvement-sneakers.

Even if you are not part of the “tennis shoe-generation” (that was all the way back in the 80’s), we are all wearing sneakers, all the time. But if you start thinking about all the materials used – ooof…!

That’s why we are so excited that we found this:

Monaco Ducks Sneakers made from loden. To be more precise: From the wool of Bavarian sheep that is processed to loden. Some parts are made from recycled wool and biodegradable, recycled rubber (Go!Zero). They are crafted in a small Italian manufactory. The Munich-based company and its products are completely climate neutral. That had been the plan form the very start and in January 2021 the two founders Carl and Julian reached their goal: 100% climate neutral sneakers, that are fairly produced.

And: The shoes look pretty cool. Great design, without being overly trendy. Slow fashion for your feet…

We love it. Especially, that as a “side effect” the shepherds and their animals are supported. Check it out: www.monacoducks.com
