Our lifeblood is black. With lots of green.

Of course we are coffee freaks. But not merely that. We also act out of conviction when it comes to organic cultivation, respect for the environment, and fairness.

As different as we all are – and that is quite obvious – as much we jointly believe in and work on making the world a little bit better with each coffee bean. Because it is necessary. Because it is the only way to face all the challenges. Because we are the “crazy organic people”. With a little bit of dourness and a lot of lifeblood.

Karsten

Our head of everything.

Courageous, passionate and sometimes dour. An electric guitar player from Lower Saxony, who is most bothered by carelessness and would love to have a black coffee with Bryan Adams.

Martina

THE Planning.

And the sympathetic ear for customers and colleagues. Gets exasperated about people who just talk but do not act. Would love to talk with Angela Merkel about women in male domains over a coffee.

Eva

Communicator in every way.

Is excited about doing marketing for something meaningful – and gets all the more exasperated about the sell-off of organic products in discount stores. She would be curious about a coffee chat with the farmers from Papua New Guinea.

Daniel N.

Grown in the sales department at Mount Hagen from the ground up.

Quite a night owl, but with open ears during the day. He thinks much of lifeblood and rather little of cold coffee. And would love to have a nice cup of hot coffee with the filmmaker Christopher Nolan.

Daniel B.

Our current newbie.

Came to us because he wants to makes the world a better place. He trusts in life, his fellow human beings, and really good coffee, which he would love to enjoy together with Dagoberto Marin, our Demeter coffee farmer from Peru.

Michél

Ambitious all-rounder, athletic, with lots of lifeblood and sometimes only few words.

Loves the complexity of coffee, plans that work out, and would be highly interested in a coffee party with Alexander Zverev, Tiger Woods, Elon Musk, and the inventor of the washing machine (why though?).

Rainer

100% organic. And 100% dedication.

No matter to what, but most definitely when it comes to trade. With rough edges, attitude, a lot of sympathy for his people. He would like to have coffee and debate with Elon Musk. We would be quite curious about that.

Farid

Sentimentalist. Keeps the trade in southern Germany running.

Dislikes bad mood and bad coffee. Maybe that is the reason why he would love to have a cup of Mount Hagen coffee with George Clooney (honi soit qui mal y pense).
