During our search for unusual products and initiatives, we recently discovered conflictfood.com. An online shop that sells specialty products from conflict regions (hence the name conflictfood) like Afghanistan or the West Bank, in order to give the people an economical perspective, fight the causes of forced migration, and to tell a different, positive story about these countries “for a change”.

The teas, coffees, spices, and grain are all sustainably produced, some are organically cultivated. We think that is quite exciting and very courageous.

Meanwhile, the company, that was started in 2016 in Berlin, has won several awards: The Next Organic Start-Up Award 2016, the iF_Social Impact Prize 2018, and the RENN Sustainability Award 2019.

Chapeau!
