The almost 80-year-old ex-Beatle should know best since he is not only one of the most versatile musicians ever. Since the 1970s he has been active in animal and environment protection and takes a very clear stance.

No matter if it is about music, the ambition to end factory farming, the work for environmental protection, or other social issues, like his public statement on the death of George Floyd on June 5th, 2020:

“[…] All of us here support and stand alongside all those who are protesting and raising their voices at this time. I want justice for George Floyd’s family, I want justice for all those who have died and suffered. Saying nothing is not an option.”*

Correct.

By the way, there is a fairly new documentary series about Paul McCartney (McCartney 3,2,1“) that gives quite a personal insight into the number 2 songwriter of all times (according to Rolling Stone Magazine).

It is definitely worth watching.
