Have you ever taken the time to freshly grind coffee? Let its fragrance (is there actually anything better?) conjure a smile onto your face – at seven o’clock in the morning? And then enjoy every single sip of your freshly brewed coffee? Really savor it? Notice the difference between how it starts on the tongue and finishes in the throat? The nuances? The acidity …?

This is in a different league to gulping down a coffee-to-go while FaceTiming on the way to work. Of course, that’s one way to do it. But there are others.
