In Germany there is not a big hype about Cold Brew yet. Although, a cold brewed coffee is exceptionally delicious. And not even that hard to prepare. The most important aspect to keep in mind is the grinding degree. It should be coarse.

And this is how it’s done:

• Grind 3.5 oz of coffee coarsely and add 34 fl oz cold (!) water, stir well.
• Cover the container and let it steep for at least 12 hours in the refrigerator.
• Strain the Cold Brew.

Done.

You can enjoy it on ice (in this case you should make ice cubes from cold brew coffee itself, to make sure that the Cold Brew does not get too watery). Or you add a dash of milk (preferably with a high fat content).

By the way, what really no one needs is a Cold Brew Coffee Maker, like a Dripster. You might as well use a glass carafe or bottle. Just make sure, that the ratio between coffee grounds and water remains the same.
