. Widely used as a packaging material for coffee (capsules, coffee bags as a layer between PE and PET film). Production is very energy-intensive, and toxic waste products such as red mud are also produced from bauxite. And: as the large bauxite deposits are located in the tropical belt, rainforests are being cut down to make way for them. We use aluminum-free, recyclable and yet aroma-safe packaging material.
